5 months in

Gideon is 5 months old today. So this post is all about him. We don't go to the doctor until 6 months, but I would guess he's about 24 inches long and about 14 pounds. He gets cuter and blonder every day.

• He is cutting his first tooth, the front, bottom, right one. 
• He can sit up, but not for long without crumpling or falling to the side.
• He has discovered that he can shriek like a howler monkey, and does it often.
• He is so close to crawling! He will slide around on the floor with his buns in the air and head on the floor.
• He hates sleeping alone, and hates sleeping in his crib.
• His favorite movie is Pinocchio
• His favorite color is red, roho, rouge, rot. (We always do the colors in English, Spanish, French, and German)
• He is super super smart, especially when it comes to electronics.
• He smells like graham crackers.
• Oh, and he loves me. A lot.

On a separate note, I've been working on making a baby carrier, which has been a bit of an undertaking for someone such as me who has never sewn anything that wasn't very small and a straight line. lol. But it's practically done, which means photos coming soon! It's not very pretty to look at (my stitches are all wonky), but it should hold a child, which is really what matters right? I'm thinking about making some for my Etsy shop, but I need a little more practice first, so if you or anyone you know wants one, I'm willing to make them at cost, which really depends on the fabrics you want.
